The Solicitors Journal, one of the most trusted sources of information for legal professionals in London, has featured Oracle Legal Case Management in a recent article. This is in addition to a recent feature in Spear’s – a leading magazine for wealth management.
The article recognizing Oracle Legal Case Management (OLCM) as the “First legal brokerage” firm in London was published online on February 7, 2013. The article highlights the goals of OLCM which is to act as a legal brokerage for clients and to “ensure that lawyers provided advice to the required standard and clients were not exposed to ‘unnecessary billing’”.
The article cites Dr. Yuri Rapoport, Executive Director of OLCM, as spearheading the new enterprise. The article describes OLCM as being on a trial phase, currently working on ten cases with several London firms. The ten cases all involve Russian speaking clients, with OLCM’s role being that of a professional intermediary.
Also quoted is Ashley King-Christopher, partner and tax specialist with the London firm Speechly Bircham: “The disconnect between reality and expectation can be famously wide in legal services, particularly when dealing with clients from overseas who are unfamiliar with the English legal system”.
It is this disconnect which OLCM plans to provide a solution for. This unique approach focusing on providing expert support for the specific legal needs of foreign clients has gained notice in the business and legal community.
