Representatives of Oracle Capital Group Speak at the Russia and CIS Private Clients Conference

Representatives of Oracle Capital Group participated in the prominent Russia and CIS Private Clients Conference in Zurich last week. The event brought together leading experts working with high net-worth and ultra-high net-worth individuals and their families from Russia and CIS.

During the conference the following topics were covered: wealth planning, tax optimization strategies, protecting the legal interests of clients, real estate acquisition and ownership, international relocations and the future of Russian and CIS wealth.

Svetlana Ryabokon, Head of Corporate and Fiduciary Services of Oracle Capital Group, was a member of the opening panel leading a discussion on “What are the needs of the Russian/CIS private clients today?”

The panel focused its discussions on the needs of Russian/CIS HNW clients historically and possible needs in the future. Ms Ryabokon, in particular, emphasized that due to significant risks faced by Russian/CIS clients and historical patterns of wealth creation in post-Soviet Union countries international services providers will bring their focus to new asset protection structures and their efficient administration, efficient project management, quality of documents and proper custody of documents. Svetlana identified 7 key factors for the success of family offices the result-oriented approach, entrepreneurial attitude, long-term vision to the relationship as opposed to a relationship aimed at immediate financial benefits to the client as well as long-term practical experience in Russia and CIS.
