The annual awards for the Society of Trust and Estate Professionals (STEP) are the highlight of the industry calendar. Oracle Capital Group is proud to be affiliated with STEP and the high professional standards the society maintains. The company is also particularly proud to this year sponsor a significant accolade at the STEP award: The Geoffrey Shindler Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Profession.
Geoffrey Shindler is one of the founding members of STEP, and was instrumental in growing the society to now include over 18,500 members across 80 jurisdictions, drawn from a broad range of professional backgrounds including family offices, lawyers, accountants and trust specialists.

Previous winners of the Geoffrey Shindler Award include Prof. Dr Xavier Oberson, Professor of Swiss and international tax law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva and Denzil Lush, senior judge of the Court of Protection.
STEP members help families plan for their futures, specialising in a wide range of activities, from drafting a relatively simple will to more complex issues surrounding international families, protection of the vulnerable, family businesses and philanthropic giving.
The 2013 STEP awards are to be held on Wednesday 18 September at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
