Oracle Capital Group launches art advisory service

Service to help ensure clients are well advised when investing in fine art
Expert panel will guide on trends, value and authenticity in booming art market

London: Oracle Capital Group, the global independent multi-family office and wealth consultancy, today announces that it has launched an art advisory service aimed at offering independent and senior advice to its clients looking to invest or maintain collections in the fine art market.

The service will offer clients access to a panel of experts who are able to advise on specific paintings, periods and movements. Its focus will ensure that those investing for the first time or those already with paintings and collections are given expert advice around key valuation issues including trends, authenticity and emerging art markets.

The launch of the service builds on the Group’s credentials as a patron of the arts and follows its sponsorship of the hugely successful Houghton Revisited exhibition that saw masterpieces by Van Dyck, Poussin, Rubens, Rembrandt and Velazquez reassembled in their spectacular original setting of Houghton Hall for the first time in over 200 years, after they were sold to Empress Catherine the Great by UK Prime Minister Sir Robert Walpole.

At the same time Oracle Capital Group is pleased to announce that James Butterwick, one of the world’s leading experts on Russian art will be joining its panel. James has built a formidable reputation having become the only foreign member of the Russian Society of Private Collectors in 1994. In 2008 James became the only foreign member of the International Confederation of Antique and Art Dealers of Russia and the CIS and in 2013 was voted into the prestigious Society of London Art Dealers.

Commenting on the launch Martin Graham, Chairman of Oracle Capital Group Group said:
“We are delighted to be launching this service. Investment in alternative assets is often a key interest area for many of our clients. Whether the interest has been born from a love of the asset such as a piece of art or wine or simply as an investment focus, Oracle Capital Group is committed to ensuring that they have access to the best advice available.”
