Oracle Capital Group Chairman to Lead Global Economy Briefing

Oracle Capital Group Chairman to Lead Global Economy Briefing

Martin Graham, Chairman of Oracle Capital Group, is to be the lead speaker at an important breakfast briefing in London on 16 October 2014. The briefing, aimed particularly at High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and those who manage their assets, is being organised by Wealth Briefing. Mr Graham will address the subject of The Global Economic Outlook: Recoupling Growth and Inflation, and the briefing will take place at the prestigious Carlton Club on St James’s Street in Central London.

Despite signs of economic recovery gradually being seen in advanced economies, the global picture is not looking so encouraging. Investors are still wary of emerging markets; Abenomics has not yet had the hoped-for impact in Japan; and the European Central Bank recently intervened to stave off the danger of low inflation.

This will be a thought-leadership event, where, led by Oracle Capital Group’s Chairman, economists, family offices, portfolio managers and industry experts will provide a macro-thematic outlook on the global economy. The expert panel will debate the prospects for international markets and the actions of policymakers, notably looking at:

•Growth prospects and inflation worries in the US, UK and Eurozone
•Where next for Abenomics and the Japanese economy?
•Emerging markets and peripheral Europe: Opportunities and threats

Market specialists are expected to offer advice on where best to allocate assets and how to gauge confidence levels. They will also help asset managers to make the right decisions for their clients.

The event starts with registration and breakfast from 0815 to 0900. Mr Graham will open proceedings at 0900, and the presentations and discussion will continue until 1030. There will then be the opportunity to network with the panel and other participants over a cup of coffee until the session closes at 1100.

Participants should be aware that The Carlton Club has a strict dress code. Gentlemen are expected to wear a jacket and tie, and clothing such as jeans or trainers are not permitted. Ladies are expected to wear suitable business attire.
